I found this Monarch on my stroll through Balboa Park the other day. I must have looked like crazy paparazzi as I followed it flitting and fleeting through the viewfinder of my camera. Luckily he stopped for a just a moment to bat his beautiful wings at me, as if on the red carpet, giving me the over-the-shoulder-coy-glance (this is seriously is the technical term) before being rushed into a big premier. I got my money shot, and just like that, he was gone. US Weekly- call me.
