A little motivation

So, hopefully absence really does make the heart grow fonder??

I have not blogged since February... and that makes me sad. But, I'm back with full intentions to become a little more bloggerific!!

A little pink thang inspired me the other day, to wake up that lazy camera and tell it that summer vacation is really really over...

Easy breezy beautiful with crazy hair, who would not pose but for a second, reminded me how gorgeous these moments are...out of focus, non-artistic, who cares. I love photography. I love capturing my moments, as nothing in this world makes me happier....even when all she wants to do is eat grass.

A Sunny disposition

Usually I cringe at the thought of too much sun and try to do portraits later in the day, as the brightness usually attributes to lots of squinty eyes, and big face shadows. But, with beautiful Kody, the shadows were so beautiful against her flawless features, her beauty, effortless! I may have caused her permanent retinal damage making her stare straight into the sun, to get her amazing eyes twinkling, but I think once her mother sees the photos, she will know that the blindness was worth it.

Four days young.

I tend to feel like a stranger invited into world not my own when I take newborn photos. Like, I am not meant to be there, but I somehow got the honor to ooh and aaah over this new life. Everyone who knows me, knows I am a baby person...so to have a job where I get to see fresh wee ones regularly, is a dream.
This precious bundle was four days when I had the pleasure of photographing her. Not only was she gorgeous, but her new mother was radiant with love.

My daughter is a sleeping machine. She sleeps UH-LOT. But getting a photo of it, is like catching Bigfoot on film. So here it is....my proof that the Sasquach really does exist.
